Summary:
We are a nationally accredited, NCCER-approved proprietary college located in Columbus, OH looking for an HVAC/R instructor to lead our program through growth and expansion. Utilizing the NCCER ContrenConnect online and text curriculum, we cover all aspects of HVAC industry education.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Utilize the NCCER curriculum to teach incoming students
·Give written tests and performance reviews
·Monitor the school’s attendance policy for students
·Complete required administrative paperwork for NCCER and School
·Monitor student academic progress
·Other duties as required in/out of the classroom determined by school's management
·Report to the Director of Education
Required Skills:
- Associate Degree or higher with three years of related practical HVAC experience.
- EPA 608 Universal certification.
- Proficient organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid background in trouble shooting
- Ability to work under highly stressful situations and handle frequent interruptions.
- Basic Microsoft office and internet skills.
- Good Microsoft PowerPoint and presentation skills a plus
- Prior vocational school teaching experience a plus.

Summary:
Full time position responsible for the accuracy, integrity, privacy and security of all academic records. The Registrar is responsible for managing course scheduling while achieving maximum section size and efficient utilization of facilities, equipment and human resources. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of student course registration and final grade entry, add/drop management.
- Document forms for student and staff processes related to educational records
- Communicate with students and faculty about appropriate procedures related to educational records.
- Responsible for graduation certification, transcript preparation and degree verification for all students and alumni.
- Determine student eligibility for graduation in conjunction with academic staff
- Ensure policy and procedure observance for academic policy regarding add/drop period, course caps, and grade changes, and other registrar-related policies.
- Provide data for analysis and institutional research for internal planning and external constituencies (tuition forecasting, IPEDS, accreditation, etc.).
- Ensure compliancy with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
- Order diplomas; track incompletes; 1098T year end reporting.
- Other duties as appropriate to position and as assigned by supervisor.
Required Skills:
- A bachelor's degree in Education or Business Administration or a related field from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the US Department of Education required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an educational environment with student/customer contact required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and the Internet required.
- Previous experience with student course scheduling software or similar database experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills required.
- Flexibility to learn new methodologies, technologies and systems required.
- Ability to handle a high pressure environment with significant timeline pressures necessary.
- Able to interact with employees, potential students and outside contacts of all levels.
- Ability to work some evening hours as necessary
